Florence Falls.
The day starts with a visit to the Adelaide River War Cemetery, a sobering reminder of our past especially when you look at their ages.
Crocodile Dundee movie star ' Charlie who passed away in 2000 now stands tall in the 303 Bar at the Adelaide River Inn.
Uschi with one of the largest cathedral termite mounds around.

I spent the day checking out Litchfield National Park with local Wagait Beach tour operator Uschi and Territory Experiences and fellow guests Penny and Alf who …are staying with friends at Wagait Beach at the moment.

I would thoroughly recommend this trip to visitors to Wagait Beach or anyone who has family or friends visiting this Dry Season.  Not many tours start from our side of the harbour with pick up and drop off at your front door.  This is one of the few making it a very easy start to a lovely day out.

Uschi specialises in small group tours which makes the day friendly and personal.  The day has no fixed time frame which is great because I felt unhurried with no pressure to get to the next point of interest.

So if you are staying in Wagait Beach or you are a local who can’t get time off while your visitors are here, give Uschi a call on 0428 142 724 and get them to spend a day with her seeing the sights of Litchfield.  The waterfalls are magnificent at the moment after good Wet Season rains.
